The HSBC TTW ( tree-top walk) at Mc Ritchie " I came, I saw and I conquered* " (twice to be exact in the same week!). Traffic is one-way only at 30 people max allowed at a time. Do not expect to touch the canopy. Most of the tree tops are below the bridge's height. You will be surprised that the ' stepping' actions can cause the suspended bridge to sway from side to side. Look out for the rattan on your left towards the other end of the bridge. |

| While 'combing' the secondary forest floor for interesting objects - a ' thud' sound distracted my attention. Just a foot away from the boardwalk, I noticed this freshly fallen shutter-cock-like seed. I was surprised at the rather green/fresh leaf-wing instead of the typical textbook depiction of dried up bi-wings. The five loped calyx revealed the well concealed single nut. |  |
