| Milky way - Aug

| Aug 24 2005 Instead of fishing for meteor so early in the
evening I decided to check out the Milky way.
Moon- rise in an hour and half so I tested out UFOCapture V2 for
full-frame recording. Each clip lasted 20-30 seconds. Registrax was
used for the stacking of 500-1000 light frames. |

Milky
way can be detected most of the nights in Singapore. To
simulate viewing under a dark sky, switch off your room light, stand
