METEORS outside my study window - Using a single Watec- 902H and 25mm/f0.9 video lens, passing meteors were captured in automatic frames stacking from a PC.  Then the video was also recorded on a Sony 8mm Digi-8 video walkman.    At the end of the recording session, the stacked frames ( at 1-3 minutes) interval were examined for meteors, the video tape was rewound and the meteor clips were extracted in Premiere and  saved in native DV avi . The detection  rate is low - around 1-3 meteors per hour of recording.

LUPUS: This is a gem. Despite the drifting cloud, the video capture a bright small meteor dashing through. The whole duration lasted 1.5 seconds! The longest duration meteor captured on tape on this set up.  Cloudy sky Slow Meteor: June 23'03 21:56:38   I obtained this very slow  meteor which created the extremely 'short' spacing.  This is another  eye pleasing meteor to watch in video mode.
