yK's Meteor Catcher setup - Watec 902H CCD and fast 25mm f0.95 lens on
hinged boards ready to be 'extended' outside the window...
For meteors I use the 6-head VCR for max 240
min recording.
Jan 22 '05 3:30-6:00
am ( Crux - Pointer Region)- Extracted sequence of
3- minute video stills. Crux rising above the
low elevation cloud level. Two meteors left short streaks above the
Pointers sharing close end points. The
first frame contained two meteors as well - one right inside the Crux and
the other in the slant lines of stars close to NGC 3766. Yet another one on the
extreme top right edge.

61degree, Azm 197degree. Using meteor catcher setup (see first image). This
is my first bright 'catch' for the year. Close interspacing of the
dashes indicate a very slow meteor indeed. (~ 0.6 sec in duration)
