| The year 2001, I continued
the chase for Leonids Meteor Storm on top of the 1100 meter high Bohyunsan Optical Observatory
(BOO) in South Korea. Knowing this is probably my last leonids with
the absence of moon I dragged a total of 60 kg (132
lbs) of equipments ( 6-camera array, 8mm lens, 15mm lens,
a series of watec-Hi-8 cameras, tripods, get batteries...) to Korea. |

Leonid sliced through Orion. Caught by one of the
six T-70
camera array in '01 Asia Storm. Note the different stellar colors.
Did you notice a space intruder in the foto above (
hint: short dash-line)?
(Below - 8mm fisheye cropped view). Two 'chasing' leonids at 3 o'clock
position. |

| Milky way flowed diagonally across the
night sky. Polaris stood still above the 1.6m reflector with drawn shutter. Ursa Major tailed down on its right. A pair of chasing
leonids exuded not far from Sickle. Pegasus square and its 'handle'
appears a giant Dipper. Cassiopeia turn upside down and
looked Big 'M'- Mac. The hunter stood on its head. - Bohyunsan
